Fire Risk Assessments
The Fire Safety Order (FSO) applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales.
Since the introduction of the Regulatory Reform Order in 2006 fire risk assessments must be carried out in businesses and organisations by a responsible person. The responsible person must carry out a fire risk assessment, including measures to reduce or eliminate the risk of fire, and identify persons at risk.
This is where Jennery Associates Ltd. can help. Our trained and professional fire risk assessors will inspect your site and create a detailed fire risk assessment report, which will identify the necessary steps to improve your fire safety.
Legislation applies to you if you are:
- Responsible for business premises
- An employer or self-employed with business premises
- Responsible for a part of a dwelling where that part is solely used for business purposes
- A charity or voluntary organisation
- A contractor with a degree of control over any premises
- Providing accommodation for paying guests
Upon completion of the Fire Risk Assessment, you will be provided with a comprehensive report which details findings and most importantly recommendations to bring your site up to the required fire safety standard.
